Did anyone else have trouble with 1d? I'm not familiar with Spenser. Thought it was a bit of a stinker.

Hello, k. Knew you would say that! Just wondered what form of words you would use. You have been so kind to me as a newcomer. I can't believe how I have progressed these past few weeks, or is it months? You are very kind to offer to send a copy of you know what but I'm doing the crosswords to win one. I know that the chances are slim but that's part of the fun, isn't it? Don't you get bored, being so clever? Oops. Tone can be so difficult to get right in emails, don't you think? I've slipped up more than once. I still hate these Scots words - they're so unfair. How would Scots feel if their crosswords were littered with English slang? I'm a mardy git.
