no gas

i rent a two bedroom flat with all utilities included in my rent apart from electric which is on token a few weeks ago my gas meter was stolen it took them 8 days to fix and put a new gas meter in and i got 10 pounds worth of electric tokens for the total of 8 days and today it has been stolen again and i have no gas again which i pay full rent for, i just need to know if i have any rights for this for what i need to tell the landlord please can someone advise me of my rights also as it is christmas and bank holidays it looks like its gonna take longer to sort out

1) you need to tell th LL the meter has been stolen
2) it's too early to be thinking about compensation -for all you know it might be replaced tomorrow. Plus they compensated you last time, so will probably do so again.
i would also want the meter/s put somewhere a lot more secure
why are they stolen so often?

This happened to a property near me.
Eventually the landlord had to have a secure cabinet affixed around it.
