It would appear there is an error in clues 10d and 25a unless,of course, it is me
25a reads Sleep here about noon would be risky for drivers 6,4 and I have the answer DOUBLE BE(N)D
That being the case 10d Topless flower girls catch cold: they're looked down on 5,7
should I beleive be LOWER CLASSES. However, with the "D" from DOUBLE BEND in 25a, 10d would be incorrect.

Does anyone have an alternative answer ?? please

I don't have the puzzle or the grid, but would "single be(n)d" work?

Hi, I agree LOWER CLASSES is correct. DOUBLE BEDS would fit but why? except for the reference to sleep. Regards, Jonty.

Thanks jonti23 I have been in touch with the Daily Mail who confirm that 25a is not DOUBLE BEND but would not say what the correct answer should be.
The thought occured to me that perhaps the term "Driver" referred to Golf but as I am not a golfer I am not familiar with "Double Beds" in golf

Maybe some other contributor would know ! !

Hello writesbad et al
I think I have solved the problem, having re-read the clue it would seem that the answer is DOUBLE BEDS and if one were to add the "N" from noon this would give DOUBLE BE(N)DS excluding the "N" from the grid.
