I only ever get the bus when I go to London (I don't have the luxury of that choice where I live) and I like it if you are lucky enough to get a seat. It's a good place to people watch. Plus you don't see half as much of your surroundings when you are driving.

I love the bus. I have just got my buspass and I go all over the county. Best thing so far about old age!! However, our buses are relatively clean in Cumbria compared with inner city ones (I think).

I like the bus...I can read while i am travelling and send texts/make phone calls like trains better though especially the one to north wales....lovely journey

It is generally better than walking if your journey is several miles. It is also sometimes quicker.
