Welcome again to all our members old and older.
It is not quite so cold this week, but I am sure we will still all feel the benefit.
Hopefully our staff will not desert us as they did last week with excuses about 'half-term' and 'circumstances beyond my control'...you know who you are and we know what you were up to...lady butcher indeed.....I have it on good authority that that shop was open for business all last weekend and the butcher lady was serving her customers tripe as usual...
Tonight's raffle prizes so far are:
Two porky pies
Small pack of green face powder (covers blushes)
and two used bus tickets to Scarborough (it's so bracing)
Hello again. Just had an emergency. (A real one...fire in elderly relative's building, didn't know if she would have to be evacuated or not. Fire on 6th floor, she's on fifth and deaf as a post.) Thankfully panic now over, fire out and firies leaving.)
Going to have a very stiff drink and go to bed now. Night all, see you next week and good luck with the raffle.
The only time I had to dial 999 was to the fire service was to cope with an electrical fire in a cellar. The firemen were great, always admired their professionalism. Rather cute too.
all of us are here, just simply bumbling around in other rooms at the moment - the club is, after all, a very extensive facility. For myself, I am just grateful they allow the animals, well, you know
Do come into the withdrawing room. I am sure milady would not mind. Mind you the drawings are not much to write home about. That is if you have one. A home, not a drawing. I should imagine tha Lie in King and Alexanderd have slunk away to the room which hosts the TV to watch the football highlights. Much prefer the rugby myself. Did you support a team of either association today?
I don't knit, no make that I can't knit. I am a leftie and back in the dark ages when I went to school nobody thought to teach me to knit by having me "mirror" their actions! I stitch.
