Lighting is now back to normal within the store, which Viv and I visited again yesterday.
The E/mail reply I have received from Sainsbury's is appended, as follows.:-

Thanks for your email. I'm sorry that the lighting in our Swansea store was dim when you visited. I understand this must be disappointing for you.
We're very proud of our high standards, although it's clear that we've fallen short of them on this occasion. I would like to assure you that it's unusual for this to happen.
I contacted the store and spoke with a manager there. He confirmed that there were problems with the lighting in store last week and the store was much dimmer than usual. However, electricians have now rectified the problem and the lighting is back to normal.
