Hi Mary. Are these clues all for the same crossword? If so, it would be helpful if you could keep them to a single thread rather than starting a new thread each time.

It's helpful to people who solve lots of these every day if you say the publication, date and number of the crossword in the title rather than just "Crossword".

Also, there is a section underneath Q&P specifically for crosswords. If you ask your crossword questions in there, you get the opportunity to use the title builder too.

Thanks to MarkRea for info sorry for being so scattered with my requests for help I really do not quite understand the system where is the Q&P section for crosswords? this particular crossword is an weekly Agriword one a publication not too freely available, I have got it finished now! Thanks again , Marydear
