i need advice from you all, please

i'm about to launch a postal quiz, to raise funding for the christmas lights in my town (st ives - cambridgeshire).
ordinarily i'd post it on here too, however, part of the first prize would be for a child of the winner to accompany santa on stage to throw the switch turning the lights on at the festivities.
naturally there would be no point in any AB'ers entering this if they live in other parts of the country and would never come over this way.
so ... do i not bother launching on here or do i go ahead with it and hope that those of you who are not local would have a go anyway just for fun and to be generous? (£1 per sheet).
thanks in advance for your valuable opinions.

We all love a quiz for good causes on AB, the more the merrier, and no IMO it doesn't matter where the quiz is based/in aid of. I'm sure that the inhabitants of this site will agree.. ☺

I would go for it. When I do a quiz on here, mostly Stamford Richards ones for Macmillan, I do so in the certain knowledge that I won't win, still do them as I love them. Do me a favour though and try to arrange for the quiz to be downloaded online and pay a £1 on entry, or use Justgiving. I never, ever send off for quizzes with an SAE as I've never got stamps.
If its a good quiz the prize doesnt matter but echo everyone else and please make it downloadable pay on entry or paypal or something
When stamps increase if you send for a quiz and then send a SAE to get the answers when you send it in a £1 quiz is going to cost £3 in total so feel something has to change especially if like me you do on average 20 a month

thank you all (except oldgeezer) for your kind and generous responses .. they have persuaded me to post the quiz here, therefore, look out for it next month.
i will respond now individually to two of you :- firstly, jim45. of course you are welcome to make as many copies for your friends as you wish, the more the merrier.
secondly, rockyraccoon. i do not have a pc (i'm using my mobile) also i do not have the knowledge & skills to do as you ask however, just for you - and you alone - i suggest this ... you post your name and address on here for me and i will send you a copy plus my own sae directly, would that be satisfactory to you?
once again, thanks all

If it was to far to come you could give the prize to the next one drawn out. I have no children available for example and I live in Bristol, but I would still like to do the quiz. As Nibble says, we all love quizzes and ifit for a good cause all the better. I would not send the answer in, just do the quiz for the sake of it.
