In a study to prove something significantly there has to be a value of 0.05 or smaller!! well.....I seem to be having brain freeze (again) if my results are ...
0.16
0.001
0.03
0.06
0.05

then am I right in saying that from the list that 0.05 0.06 and 0.001 are same or smaller than 0.05??? thankyou!!!

0.06 - equates to 6pence
0.05 - equates to 5pence
0.001 - equates to one tenth of a penny

This is the best analogy that I could think of.

so I am correct then wolf??
thanks wolf even I understood that.
No - 0.06 is largest (think of it as 6/10ths), then 0.05 then the 0.001.

I can't think of a way of saying it that you can use to remember it. I
if you just want to compare them simply move the decimal point 2 places to the right (equivalent to multiplying by 100) to get

16
.1
3
6
5

which may make the comparison easier to see
