As I am sure you will all have noticed, we have got the bunting out and the hall is totally jubilantly decked. The red white and blue theme has been continued with jubilation throughout the building and even the stables have been repainted puce (which is the colour we got when we mixed the red white and blue paints).
Members who wish to identify themselves as jubilarians may do so by signing the Big Book on the sideboard in the lower lesser grand ballroom.
Tonight's jubilar raffle so far has for prizes:
1 silver jubilee mug (slightly cracked)
1 golden jubilee tea towel (slightly washed out)
14 Union Jack flags (all full size)
6 red buttons
7 white gloves (some pairs)
8 blue berets (the hats, not the men)
there's a water-butt of juby tailcock out the back, ten, - just put it on the rack above gness, tap dripping, and she will be as happy as a cami in a lingerie set.
nungate - I had no idea how hard Lie in King had to work. He certainly deserves an evening off. I have a 40 minute run to do in the morning. I just hope I will be up to it after running up and down those stairs. Some of the coats won't stay on the pegs, there's hardly any space for the hats and where the wellies are supposed go, I really don't know. But I'm not one to complain ...
flump - you are the only one that has noticed my pinny. It has a plastic coating on it that has repellent properties. I'm hoping it will repel the croc when I have to cross the moat later on.
