Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

My question doesn't seem to be appearing.

I've just entered a question on the thread: St. Guthlac's Ladies' Guild 'Coast To Coast' Quiz, yet it isn't appearing on any of the current threads. I also attempted to report it to Ed, but my password isn't recognised. Help appreciated please.

My question is:

Hello - do you have a clue as to which Welsh Wizard you mean for Question 25? I have investigated Lloyd George, Ryan Giggs, Merlin and Byron Jones who have all been named The Welsh Wizard and none of their childhood homes have 9 letters in.

Thank you for your replies FPC and Mamy- I haven't made myself very clear, have I. I meant that my question on the thread didn't register when I placed it - it wasn't shown in Latest Posts or Quizzes and Puzzles. I know which quiz it is, and I've got the entry form (paid up front!!), but I just can't work out this question. It has to be in by 21/7.

Aye it is on the linked thread twice but as it is the first mention of a "Welsh Wizard" I suspect it's not the thread you intended posting in. (Sounds like a rugby player to me.)

In regard to your question , research the first man on your list and find a place he spent some of his childhood and is commemorated in.

It's possible that Merlin could be described as the Welsh Wizard.

Merlin is reputed to have been born in Carmarthen, but that is ten letters. However, the old name for Carmarthen is Moridunum, which is nine letters.

Unlikely to be a former name on a geography quiz.
