A Strange Plants, Trees Etc. Question

Do flower plants, trees etc. come in male and female 'genders'?

If so, do the male species of these vegetation not bear fruits and flowers?

some do and some have both male and female bits. Hollies are particularly interesting as the Holly Golden King is female and Silver Queen is male!!

Some plants that do have both bits can't fertilise themselves (google pin eyed and thrum eyed primroses) and some like peppers and tomatoes, can

The Ginkgo Biloba actually fertilises the female with a sperm. It is apparently the Mother tree, older than any other species on the planet, so Im told!

In short, plants of various species can be either male or female or some may have the both sexes on the same plant, female flowers will bear the fruit.
Some flowers can have both sexes in the same flower and can self pollinate.
