Welcome to Nungate Towers. After opening up this meeting of the MoFC, I'm afraid I shall have to retire to my chambers as Queenie has thoughtfully shared her cold with me and I feel rotten. (thank you Queen)
Tonight's Tailcock will be the Royal Ascot (since I've been there in spirit since Tuesday) and the Hot Plate Special comes from the great institution that is Giovanni's Fish, Chips, Pizza, and Mafia Safe House! Giovanni is bringing us the full range of his menu, there will be everything from Cod and chips to white pudding suppers, and a full range of Italian Ice creams to boot! (myself I fancy some tutti frutti - might help my sore throat) The Minstrels are back in the gallery, warming up their usual selection of Madrigals and Toccattas, and later in tonight's festivities they will break out their own tribute to Iron Maiden (heavens preserve us!)
The hot tub is bubbling away on the north tower, and the mini bar has been refilled, the bungee is springy and awaiting anyone who fancies jumping into the abyss, as always the race track is available for members use, the park and surrounding grounds are available to all members of MoFC as are the swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) the lake with it's rowing boats and the maze (keep turning left!)
I'm sure Igor and maybe Queenie will be on hand to assist any members with any difficulties or questions. I may pop in later in the evening depending on whether or not the lemsips have the desired effect.

Carriages at midnight.

Igor - I think you should take her up a Teddy and a bloke called Vick.
Do you think I ought to ease up on the Tailcock?
Simpkins doesn't look like that ..... mmm maybe the one with only one eye?
Igor you are a treasure. Nungate is fortunate to have you to look after her.
Madame has a lovely teddy already Madame Mammar, besides the Master (or Best beloved as she calls him) is ready to administer the vaporub if she feels the need for it, she has a nasty cough too I'm thinking Venos might be required
It's just that I'd prefer the teddy and Vick.
And, Igor, I love you dearly (you are my favourite Tailcock server) but you can't have the party blower minion as I had first dibs on him x
I think you misunderstand me. I would like Simpkins as a minion and he has only one eye! You are most welcome to the minion with the whooozer ... Me having a minion depends on Madame
thank you for your splendid offering, igor......much appreciated after a day building customer databases......
My sympathies Sir, that sounds somewhat labourious. Another Royal Ascot?
Hows it going DT ( the data base ).

Another tailcock for me also please, Igor.
Ah! I understand now, Igor . . I fear the Tailcock was blurring my understanding.
I trust Nungate will look favourably upon you and many thanks for giving me the correct name for the blowy thing. I shall tell my grandson he has it wrong. I wish there was a whooozer in the raffle. I would like one
a long slog, tony.....and I am still on kent, one of the heaviest counties - rutland next I think!
Have you got to do every county DT ?.
You are most kind Madame Mammar, but I was not aware of the correct nomenclature of the blowy thing I just called it by the way it sounds ....
whoozer
Ah! Rutland, Jilly Cooper country. Careful DT.

Did you say Kent Sir, the family used to holiday down there during the annual cleaning of the Towers. They enjoyed it enormously, Kent and East Sussex (Queenie would insist on calling it Sockets as I recall) are very familiar to the family
Jilly Cooper, Daisy, is that she of the riding crop ?.
Oh dear, I think I've blown my chances of having Simkins as a minion now. I've just butted in on Madames computer trail she wouldn't throw out an ancient family retainer would she? Maybe she won't notice
Igor, if you have invented the name 'whooozer' I feel you should be credited for a wonderfully descriptive word.
I, too, invent words. When my daughter was a teenager, she was most disconcerted to find that the word 'aggranoying' was not in the dictionary.
That is the young madam, tony
'aggranoying'

Great word that, Mammar. I like it.
