Good evening and welcome to tonight's meeting of the Mad Over Fifties Club.
At the moment Nungate Towers are bathed in evening sunlight, which is reflected on the waters of the lake (which resembles a mill pond) The rowing boats are ready and waiting for members to arrive and perhaps take them out for a trip across to the island in the middle. Tonight's tailcock will be the Nonesuch, (there's never been anything like this before!) The "hot plate special" is my very own recipe for meatloaf accompanied with all the usual side dishes or salad! As for the pudding trolley, it is awash with delicious ice cream sundaes, all you have to do is choose your favourite. Of course we have, as always, a selection of canopies and volley vonts. The Minstrels are tuning up in the gallery ready to assail us with the usual selection of Madrigals and fugues, also playing in the ballroom will be our favourite local band the Tone Deafs with a selection of '60's covers! Such fun! The hot tub is bubbling away madly on the north tower, (naturally the mini bar has been replenished - well done Frank) the bungee is ready for bouncing, the gardens are looking splendid and it is a lovely evening for a stroll) The rowing boats are lined up and ready for use, as are the cars on the race track, anyone wishing to go for a swim both pools are fully set up (cossies are available)
For tonight's rofl I have : 6 rolls of tinsel
2 tons of snow
Sundry carrots (limp)
Bucket of coal lumps
Dozen Christmas crackers (6 used)
3 Barrels of Eggnog
Truly a fine pile of goodies tonight!
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals

Carriages at midnight

Mammar, so you are really cool!
Oh gawd.
We were very tired, we were very merry—
We had gone back and forth all night in the Nungate aerie.
It was stuffed and bright, and smelled like a stable—
But we looked into a roaring Igor-laden fire, we leaned across a table,
We lay on a turret-top underneath the moon;
And the mintie's thongs kept blowing, and the dawn came soon.

We were very tired, we were very merry—
We had gone back and forth all night in the earie;
And tony ate an apple, and daisy ate a pear,
From a dozen of each they had bought somewhere;
And the sky went wan, and the wind came cold.
And the sun rose dripping, a bucketful of gold.

We were very tired, we were very merry—
We had gone back and forth all night up and down the aerie.
We hailed, “Good morrow, Queenie!” to a shawl-covered head,
And bought a Scotsman paper, which none of us read;
Nungate wept, “God bless you!” for the apples and the pears,
And we gave her all our money but our taxi fares.

We were very tired, we were very merry—
A Sugar, shower and for some a shave, rooms in the aerie.
We hailed, “Good morrow, Queenie!” to a shawl-covered head,
Breakfast the remnants of a MoFc Banquet
Mixed with Black coffee and a crusty Baguette;
Soreheads the taxis parted , “God bless you!” for pounds and pence,
Next week, towards repairing tony's damaged fence.
Is Frank's middle name Neil?

Question Author
No, but he's from the Victor Frank N. Stein family, I understand from Igor that there is a distant connection between his family and the Steins
Very good DT, like that.

Hippo shooting, me thinks.............

A very powerful gun required for that, me thinks.
Think I have got a handle on the Steins. From Transylvania. They hate anything pink. Not too great on families either.
I hear that there not great fans of garlic either, Daisy.
Or was that the other branch of the family, the Drac's.
Queenie out in the estate, keeping the hippos under control, or preventing the Steins from pouring in:

Too true Tony.
I love garlic bread.
Yep, that Bazooka would hold them up a while, DT.
The Drakenstein mountains however are superb. Had a wonderful holiday there.

No sign of him!
My, the suppositions were really flying around in my absence!
We have no hippos around the estate though that's food for thought!
I love garlic bread.

When nungate comes back I'll ask her if she has any, if she has then maybe you could have some with your next tailcock.
