Good evening and welcome to tonight's meeting of the Mad Over Fifties Club.
At the moment Nungate Towers are bathed in evening sunlight, which is reflected on the waters of the lake (which resembles a mill pond) The rowing boats are ready and waiting for members to arrive and perhaps take them out for a trip across to the island in the middle. Tonight's tailcock will be the Nonesuch, (there's never been anything like this before!) The "hot plate special" is my very own recipe for meatloaf accompanied with all the usual side dishes or salad! As for the pudding trolley, it is awash with delicious ice cream sundaes, all you have to do is choose your favourite. Of course we have, as always, a selection of canopies and volley vonts. The Minstrels are tuning up in the gallery ready to assail us with the usual selection of Madrigals and fugues, also playing in the ballroom will be our favourite local band the Tone Deafs with a selection of '60's covers! Such fun! The hot tub is bubbling away madly on the north tower, (naturally the mini bar has been replenished - well done Frank) the bungee is ready for bouncing, the gardens are looking splendid and it is a lovely evening for a stroll) The rowing boats are lined up and ready for use, as are the cars on the race track, anyone wishing to go for a swim both pools are fully set up (cossies are available)
For tonight's rofl I have : 6 rolls of tinsel
2 tons of snow
Sundry carrots (limp)
Bucket of coal lumps
Dozen Christmas crackers (6 used)
3 Barrels of Eggnog
Truly a fine pile of goodies tonight!
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals

Carriages at midnight

Thankyou Tony. I appreciate that. A true gentleman. I did try to be a lady when you jumped in the pool starkers!

Then I think I may go for a look at the snow raffle prize as I'm still too hot, even though the temperature has dropped. I'm a Spring and Autumn person, I'm afraid

FRANK! Where are you? PLANT?
nungate, I think that Frank requires more training with being a minion, I'd have a word with Igor if I were you.

This place seems to fall apart when Igor isn't around! I'll have to get things going!
He probably has a problem with his name.
Difficult to know if was named after St. Francis and if he should devote his life to animals and birds or if he should be candid or just jump on the stamps on letters to cancel them.
Well, I reckon Igor has gone into hiding with a tin of Silvo and is having a secret polishing session
Or he could be thinking in mediaeval French.

He's from a remote village in the Carpathian mountains, the Family name is Stein ....
