In Quizzes and Puzzles we occasionally have users decrying the posting of questions from a Quiz which has not been out very long or where the setter has asked those entering not to use site such as this. It is "dishonourable" to go against the wishes of the setter. However, we will not remove the question. This is a Q&A site after all. It is suggested that those wishing not to know the answer simply do not read the question. If you feel a user is a serial transgressor it may be worth linking to this post so they can get a grip on the nuances of the site. Many of these users may be new – so give them a chance.

vakayu - as has been said a number of times, there is no need for apologies. AnswerBank is a Question and Answer site. The quiz police are to be discouraged and reported.

Some people who give answers often dont when they know it says dont ask so why didnt clairerob21 at least say that
It will be interesting to see if anyone asks for help with the new Macmillan food quiz which also says no asking and I know for a fact that when someone did once the ed removed it.

chorley9 - don't be silly. I am not stalking anyone. I am simply using AnswerBank for the purpose it was created. Incidentally I also comply with the Editorial Team's rules of the site. I do not ask for anyone's posts to be removed. I merely use the facilities open to every user. I notice you have had posts removed recently too - but I guess that was for protesting under your quiz police banner.

I do find it disappointing that quizzers don't respect the setters rules, this setter as stated above even links to a specific list to consult - shame but is ever thus.
