Very nice man and a good presenter on tv and radio.I think you have your programmes mixed up D.J.Hawkes.I'll give it five was said by Janice Nicholls on Thank your lucky stars.David Jacobs presented Juke Box Jury,where panellists,usually from T.V and the pop scene,voted a particular record either a hit or a miss.

Always thought David Jacobs had a voice made for radio. He had the most wonderful twinkling eyes, complete with laughter lines. RIP.

A regular judge on Juke Box Jury was Pete Murray. Just googled him and pleased to see he is still with us.

My OH was a fan of his recent Sunday late night show on Radio 2.

He finished it about 4 weeks ago where he retired for 'health reasons'.

Too soon after this. RIP the original DJ

He was a lovely man. I remember him well from my youth too. Didnt he host the show where a panel voted a song a Hit or Miss. Loved that programme

Yes, very sad news indeed. Two broadcasters/presenters , both called David, now dead. If I were David Dimbleby, I'd be concerned! Some people still believe in the "everything happens in threes" motto. RIP David Jacobs. A gentleman.

I wouldn't have missed Juke Box Jury for anything. I always LONGED to be one of the audience in that show. I was bright green with envy.
