Can`t remember the name, but when I first got Cable TV I did see a channel that seemed to be offering good prizes for answering simple questions.  After a few days (without taking part) I realised that the phone calls were extortionate and the eventual answers they gave just did not make any sense - the didn`t give any explanation for their answers.  Because it seemed simple, I reckon thousands of people paid lots just to get through and then were not even given the chance to answer.  I guess this is the same or very similar to your misfortune.

Also I think the reason they don't explain the answer is that they repeat the same questions a few days later.

I often see questions on here along the lines of "what's 20 + 30 +40? Answer 131" or some such old tripe and they always say the answer is never explained, is that Quiz tv?

It may be totally above board Gef, but at 75p a call it looks as though the continual winner will be BT.

Thanks for the answers folks. I didn't try to take part since the 75p phone call doesn't even guarantee that you will get through.
