I received a call from one of the customer service directors having e-mailed the CEO of the Telegraph Group in desperation. Was very impressed to get a call by 9.30am when I had only e-mailed last night!
Problems appear pretty major and when they think they've fixed a problem, another appears. He did agree that it was unacceptable that no updates on progress have been given so hopefully we should be kept better informed.
