looking for a long lost friend

when i was 18 i had a best friend, we done everything together, yet we kinda grew apart and fought over a stupid guy, since then shes gone to the states, i broke down and contacted her about 2 and a half years ago.however i have lost her contact details and have tried using the web, . every site i go to to use wants money off me as usual, at the moment i dont have the finnces or a credit card to do this. does anyone know of a free way to find lost people on the web?

Hi silviak, even though your friend lives in the States, I think she can still register on Friends Reunited at her old schools, etc. You can search for people by name on that site, although you can't contact them unless you're a full member. I don't know how much it is now, but I think it's �7.50 p/a, which isn't going to break the bank and if you find her name on there it will be worth it. If you don't, then you won't have to pay and you won't have lost anything.

I was looking for a friend I hadnt seen in 20 years and posted on friends reunited.  It doesnt cost to register.  I had a reply and found my friend in a day.  The cost is minimal.   Maybe your friend is a member and would send their personal email or address.  It is worth a try.
