Jewel Mania Level 178

Is there a method to get pass level 178 on Jewel Mania? The game is only allowing me 2:40 to complete it. The best I have managed is to clear 18 of the 20 levels. Been stuck for a couple of weeks. Thanks

Moved onto 176 today, but away for a few days so if you don't hear from me you know why! Keep trying!

I have arrived at level 178 and see what you mean! Wow, you have to move very fast to make even 15 of the 20 rows which is my best so far. I will let you know if I succeed.

Ignore the ticking time bomb things - they get blow up in the general carnage. Concentrate on digging downwards.

I dig like mad but either not made it or bombs go off. So frustrating. If it was an extra 10 seconds then I would of made it a couple of times. Papa Pear Saga is now captivating me in the little down time though I try Fruit Mania daily still.

You'll get there - I have passed it on my phone but still haven't cracked it on my tablet. On level 188 now on my phone, really enjoying it. Don't get me started on Candy Crush Saga - have been stuck on the same level since last Christmas!

I was on level 150 on Candy Crush then for what ever reason I dropped to level 42. Was not a happy bunny. Then again maybe I am just wasting time playing these but they are fun and pass a little time during this weather! Will keep trying on my iPad with Jewel Mania. Thank you

I've done it! I have just spend half an hour on jewel mania and played as fast as I possibly could. I ignored the timed jewels and concentrated on making best use of the bombs and diamonds. I completed by the skin of my teeth and more by luck than judgement. Go for it!

Well done Maydup and thank you for letting me know it can be done. I haven't played it for the last few days but you now have given me the 'oomph' I needed to revisit the game. Thanks and well done again (though I am jealous!)
