And it's raining, of course.
Decided to hang some pictures, so watch out for power cuts all over the region as I blow the national grid. Now come on, it must be possible to drill a hole in a wall without hitting a power cable, but I may not manage it. Do those wire and pipe detector gadgets work ? I've got one here but have difficulty with the instructions. What's the German for "don't" ? And drill? Whoever built this place made interior walls of something harder than granite, that laughs at any kind of masonry nail. May see you later. Much later, but at least I'll go out with a bang!

Well, I am rapidly running out of furniture to burn. l love how these people do quotes. Just parts and then labour; no itemisation of parts, like all proper garages do with individual prices, just 'parts'. Might be worthwhile, as I usually do, to ask what the parts cost. I may have a quote for a boiler at twice the proper price !
