just read about this, ok its in prison, who cares about them, well i do. if this is the growing trend inside a prison then what is our country as a whole going to be like in 10 years time. sharia law courts being introduced. jihadists are becoming more and more popular. they will make the troubles in belfast, northern ireland and uk look like a walk in the park. mass immigration , no jobs , NHS is in deep trouble. obamacare in the USA.

what is going to become of our country ? i really do fear for my childrens future. its scary !!! the world is changing so fast and not for the better.

I think beezaneez has got hold of the wrong end if the stick. Wasn't it said about a week ago than there had been something like a 42% increase in the number of Muslim prisoners in the last 10 or 20 years (in line with the increase in the numbers in the population)

... and according to that article, more than 25% in another prison.

So what are the faith percentages for the other religions? How many prisoners will have classified themselves as Christian or of no faith at all? I'm not disputing the figures, just would like the background data rather than taking one potentially scary figure out of context.

Or alternatively there was a single prison in London in which 42% of the prisoners were Muslims, but as a whole there are closer to 12% of the total number of prisoners in the country who are Muslim. We shouldn't blow things out of proportion by taking one statistic and taking it out of context. As a whole far more crime is committed by "indigenous" people in this country, although what counts as indigenous is subject to debate. But the idea of barring people based on their religion is utterly abhorrent. One can be Islam and a peaceful, law-abiding citizen; one can be atheistic, or Jewish, and a barbaric nutter. There is no real link between the two. And stopping the building of mosques amounts to religious tolerance which in the long run will just exacerbate the problem.

Romanians - 87% Christian; less than 1% Muslim.
Bulgarians - 78% Christian
Polish - 92% Christian.
