Issued by the Met Office - Friday 6th June 2014
YELLOW WARNING for RAIN for ENGLAND, WALES, SOUTHERN HALF of SCOTLAND and the EAST of NORTHERN IRELAND.
Thundery downpours are expected to affect parts of England, Wales, the southern half of Scotland and eastern parts of Northern Ireland during Saturday.
The public should be aware of the potential for localised flooding due to the intensity of these storms, although at this stage the location of the heaviest rainfall is uncertain.
Valid on Saturday from 0015 until 2345.
