Mm And Km Links June 2014 Week [3]
9 Answers
Two down and two to go.
You know the routine by now. Both guessing games will launch in Q&P tomorrow morning.
First off will be the KM game managed by Seekeers frm Australia. That game is based on the linked answers in the Daily Telegraph GK Crosswords set by Kate Mepham (KM). Seekeers will first post the clues to Saturday's link words. Some players find this useful as it sometimes lets them know what NOT to guess. The links (answers) will then be posted in a fresh thread which is where you place your guesses. Play anytime before midnight Sunday for an equal chance of points. Everyone is welcome to join in.
The MM version has a much more rigid timetable. The intro is posted at 8:45 and the challenge words will follow at 9:00. The game closes at 7pm Sunday, after which the results will be postd. This version is set by one of our own and this month 'King Penguin' is in the hot seat. In this version, bonus points are awarded to the first discoverer of each link (and to anyone also correct within two minutes of that discovery) so early play is advised in this game.
This thread, affectionately known as 'The Shrubbery' is now available for socialising. Please be aware though that a 'Closure Notice' has been served and it may only remain available for one further week :-(
I am in Brighton at the moment, accessing the internet from the end of a dongle. It is really s-l-o-w at the moment so I hope that won't interfere with the launch tomorrow. Next weekend, I'll be in a more rural location so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll have an adequate connection to give you the results of the final MM Game.
I'll see you all tomorrow morning.
Be sure you're there.
Until then,
Happy Linking,
gen2

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.BigMac there is no 2-minute rule with seekeerz and the KM Links.
The two minute rule only pertains to the MM Links game.
And as to your idea of any game which has a "half time" of any relevance to this country - I am trouble trying to think of one....
...perhaps one with an oval ball but certainly not one with a spherical one!
