The new owner must respect the heritage of the site and periodically remove the ivy from Sarumite's double-decker, tend the magic-mushroom plot, and keep secret the location of the illicit still.

Aplications are invited from interested parties, stag parties or hen parties.
Tonight though, It is my farewell party.

Tomorrow will see the start of the final MM Links game. Watch out for the introduction at 8:45am with the challenge posted at 9:00. This final month, the challenges are being set by 'King Penguin' who is also providing a final small gallery of photographs to accompany it.

A big thank you to all who have supported this game or participated in the upkeep of the Shrubbery. Your participation has been greatly appreciated.

The KM Game, overseen by Seekeerz will continue as usual.
That game is based on the linked answers in the Daily Telegraph GK Crosswords set by Kate Mepham (KM). Seekeers will first post the clues to Saturday's link words. Some players find this useful as it sometimes lets them know what NOT to guess. The links (answers to the clues) will then be posted in a fresh thread which is where you place your guesses. Play anytime before midnight Sunday for an equal chance of points. Everyone is welcome to join in.

I am still in Brighton, but leaving Saturday lunchtime. By Sunday evening, when the MM results are due, I will be in a cottage in the middle of the countryside with unknown internet access. If the results don't appear on time, it will be because I'm driving around trying to get a good signal.

Anyway, I'll see you all tomorrow morning.

Very sorry to see the end of MM links, and thank you to everyone who welcomed me into the Shrubbery several years ago and has provided online friendship since then. And a very special thank you to crofter and gen2; we all realise just how much time is involved in running the game. Enjoy your Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings in particular, gen2. Hope you'll still be participating in the KM game.

Thanks Gen2 for all you've done - I've tidied up the Shrubbery as much as possible, but a few subscribers may creep out from behind the shed in the next few weeks !
