Jo - if you enlarge the map on your link you will see a village called Eyam. This village played a major role in beating The Plague of 1665. They cut themselves off from the rest of the country so as to contain and stop the plague from spreading. Amazing story.
We had 30 years in the Peak District. Beautiful area when you can see it. Love going back there to visit but working there in winter could prove difficult when our work was in transport.
