Drip-Watering An Indoor Ivy

In a high-ceilinged room I have an ivy which I have started to grow around a tree-branch. Everybody gapes in appreciation of this. But, in order to water this species of flora I have to resort to a ladder. Ideally, some contraption that facilitates it being filled with water every three/four weeks, during which time the ivy will be only given a few drops of water daily, would be the answer. Any suggestions on solving this matter would be much appreciated.
