Khandro, I can't speak for the content of the OP - most of that was copied and pasted directed from the newspaper report - but what a shame the Cardinal’s wit has gone over your head when everyone else saw the joke. The Roman Catholic church usually presents such a dour image, I found it rather refreshing that one of its representatives, together with a large gathering of the faithful, found humour in the situation. Even the pope seemed quite amused – after his initial alarm! Oh well, each to his own I suppose.
