My grandson has to 'make' all the numbers up to 50 using the four numbers of
2, 3, 5, & 7 each time e.g. 7-5+2-3 =1

He has done this with the exception of numbers 5, 26, 33, 35, 36, 39, 43, 45 and 50 and has asked me for help.

Could any mathematician out there help me out, please. I should be really grateful for any help with any number, please.

Thank you in anticipation

Can you use multiplication and division in your calculations?
Example 7X5 +3 -2 = 36
Question Author
Just need 26, 33, 39, 43, 45,& 50 now please
Question Author
Yes - any of the signs
7 x 5 + 3 - 2 = 36
Then you must use those digits more than once e.g 7X5+3+2+3 = 43
Otherwise it does seem to be rather challenging
I doubt you'd be allowed to use any more than onece- that would make it too easy since all numbers are multiples of 1 so you could repeated use +3-2
repeatedly not repeated
How about (7.2 X 5)+3 = 39?
Assuming you can also use the 'raise to power' symbol ^ (e.g. 2^3 = 8)
then a couple more possibles:-

26 = (5X7) - 3^2
35 = 5^2 + 3 + 7
43 = (5x7) + 2^3

Thank you all very much indeed - that's a start!
This may not be an acceptable method but 53-27=26
7x5+3-2+36
That one has been done Marjorygood.
If you don't ghave to use all the digits you can make 50 using (3+7) x 5
By the same token (7+2)x5 = 45. I think all 4 digits have to be used.
You probably have to use all digits, otherwise it would be too easy.
If all he's required to do is use the four numbers, then
75 x 2
-- = 50
3
should be OK
and 53 -(2x7) = 39
Is that sort of thing acceptable, do you think?
It would help if we could get the exact wording of the question/task that has been set by the school.

Thank you all very much for your efforts. The homework was to 'make' every number between 1 and 50 (inclusive) using just the four single numbers of 2, 3, 5 and 7 with any mathematical sign in between them. Indices are also allowed to be used.
