What do you think of the new DM online format?
I'd like the fact that you can now go landscape if it wasn't so small on a 7" tablet. Must be hell on a 'phone. Pity they don't seem to have changed the predictive cursor, it always drives me crazy.

I don't think it is really any improvement, far better they concentrate on getting the Sunday You to accept entries.
Or maybe employing a puzzle setter who can spell
Can you post a link to the on-line Mail crossword? I've been on the Mail website and searched for the crossword but to no avail. TIA.
That too
Michael, you have to be a subscriber to Mail Plus.
Its £9.99 a month - the papers cost about £14 and your first month is free. You dont get reward numbers but you do get to swear at the typesetter a lot.
Plus entering on line saves money on postage.
Never done it on-line. Happy to buy a paper. :-)
PS It works abroad so you get it the same time as the Uk.
Thanks for the info, guys. I get mine free every day at the local Waitrose. They've had a promotion for ages now that allows you to pick a free newspaper if you spend over £5 and you have a personal 'MyWaitrose' card. I also use my wife's card to get a free Telegraph most days. Cheapskate, or what?
Sensible methinks.
That's an expensive daily paper michael but a nice drop of Rioja whilst you do the crossword is always pleasant. :-)
Yes, retro, I usually buy a bole of wine to cover the £5. A nice chilled New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is my current favourite. Trouble is, it goes down too easily in the warm weather - a bit like drinking lemonade. So I have to watch it....

Mark, totally agree about the Sunday You. Often wonder if the compiler / typesetters for the DM have English as their first language.
