Retro, I pray and hope that you have made the right decision. I completely understand how you feel regarding the experimenting with medication.Keep us informed old friend.
As you say, your life your choice - I wish you well Retro.

Should you're severe symptoms return, please return to hospital.
Wishing you well Retro xx

Hope you've done the right thing Retro, but you know how you feel back by Mrs Retro. Looking forward to having you back old friend.

Retro, just look out for the Sparklies!
Balders has been trying to fish one out with his cable tie for ages, it's just there, at bottom of the ankle, nope, can't reach it, botheration!!
that pink fluff gets everywhere ..ask DT ! lol...now you take good care of him and his mrs Margo....I am rather fond of the old g** !
retrocop - I gather you have health issues , but i don't really know exactly what .

Is it some procedure that did not go to plan ? ( you don't have to answer if you don't want to , of course ) .

Anyway , best wishes to you

Retro, I've admired your stoicism throughout your troubles (God knows I don't think I could be that resilient), but we all have a breaking point. If you think discharging yourself is in your best interest so be it but please perhaps just take one more moment of reflection before you pack your bags - just to be sure.
Good luck whichever way you choose; there's a lot of people on here pulling for you.
Me too Minty - for an old curmudgeon he's OK

Cheers balders
When I had stents inserted 18/5 I wasnt seen until two cancellations. Each occasion I was told to stop my one anti coagulent 2 days before procedure.Soon as cardio got me last Thursday I have been on two more. They now want me to have a similar procedure through my femoral artery. As my OD of anti coags has left my claret the colour of diluted Rose and a viscosity thinner than water I believe my claret will gush out higher than T Sq fountains. The procedure is now umnecessarily risky unless they wait for viscosity and blood coagulant level to improve. They create and exacerbate existing probs by their continuous' treatment/meddling. Never thought I would go against medical advice and sign my own discharge (2 mins ago)I have lost faith in the treatment and medication as they change it without my knowledge and more often reacts badly with other meds. No more :-)
