Still in krankenhause but not much longer. I have refused further treatment and investigations for many compex and varied reasons. Will be happy tomexplain on a proper desktop keyboardDecisiom made after cosultation with Mrs retro and she is in agreement with the conerns I have remaining here. Inawait one last echogram( 4th in nearly 4 weeks). They do not believe the positive results of other 3 and havento have another go! I feel I am sounding arrogant to discharge myself but have been put through the wringer by the NHS and
Whilst feeling fitter than ever I am continually been subjected to further issues mainly due to excessive over enthusiasm of experments with meds.I feel the odds of dying here are higher than walking under a bus so I have had too
much fruitless timkering and going home. My
Body, My decision and possibly my risk I am willing to take:-)
Retro, I pray and hope that you have made the right decision. I completely understand how you feel regarding the experimenting with medication.Keep us informed old friend.
Retro...come up here and I will soothe your fevered (or otherwise) brow....best of luck my friend you will most likely feel and get much better at home..take good care xx
Never mind Minty - I'm here xx
Hope you've done the right thing Retro, but you know how you feel back by Mrs Retro. Looking forward to having you back old friend.
Retro, I've admired your stoicism throughout your troubles (God knows I don't think I could be that resilient), but we all have a breaking point. If you think discharging yourself is in your best interest so be it but please perhaps just take one more moment of reflection before you pack your bags - just to be sure.
Good luck whichever way you choose; there's a lot of people on here pulling for you.
Cheers balders
When I had stents inserted 18/5 I wasnt seen until two cancellations. Each occasion I was told to stop my one anti coagulent 2 days before procedure.Soon as cardio got me last Thursday I have been on two more. They now want me to have a similar procedure through my femoral artery. As my OD of anti coags has left my claret the colour of diluted Rose and a viscosity thinner than water I believe my claret will gush out higher than T Sq fountains. The procedure is now umnecessarily risky unless they wait for viscosity and blood coagulant level to improve. They create and exacerbate existing probs by their continuous' treatment/meddling. Never thought I would go against medical advice and sign my own discharge (2 mins ago)I have lost faith in the treatment and medication as they change it without my knowledge and more often reacts badly with other meds. No more :-)
