Surely the point of this type of quiz is to sell as many copies as possible and raise money for a given charity. How does being told a few answers deter people from buying the quiz, would it not encourage them?
Vulcan isn't new to AB at all, but may be new to Q&P and this particular topic.
To get an answer to Vulcan's question one would need to speak to some quiz setters who have seen sales fall as quizzes become more of a lottery (their words).
Of course there are many quizzes out that have no restrictions on asking at all, so there's a quiz for everyone if they want it.
