who is the guy then?
For those without the quiz who is the guy ?
Who is it?
The quiz setter asked that you do not ask for help until 15 September. Please respect her wishes.

I didn't see that but I can't see that 4 days out is going to make any difference. The guy is Nikki Lauder.
If people don't respect the quiz setter's wishes, what's the point of Doing the quiz. It doesn't matter if it's 4 days or 40 days.

The quiz setter can request, they can't force people. I buy the quizzes to help raise money for their charities and for the most part respect their wishes. In this case I don't think asking 1 question is going to make any difference to the number of copies of quizzes sold. Back off angie 55
Can we keep it civil please.
Mamya, I think I am being civil.

Janbuck, respecting the quiz setters wishes 'most of the time' hardly absolves you does it. Anyway you have been admonished before when you asked the MAGPAS quiz which has a strict no asking policy and you ignored that. If you don't like the quiz setters rules, don't buy it, simple.
If it's Niki Lauda he was known as 'King Rat'
My response was to Janbuck - this debate could as always run for pages, we all buy quizzes to hep the Charity and of course hope to win some too.

For myself I play by the rules of something I partake in, so it's a sadness to me when someone else can't.

But then we're all different I guess.
Well done Motley - sorted.
Agree if this quiz setter stipulates a no asking before a given date policy then it should be respected but it might be helpful if such information could be included on the original posting on this website announcing this quiz then all will know.

I've been a member on here since 2005 and it used to be such a great site where people asked questions and got answers, simple. Now it seems it's full of the quiz police who follow your every move. I'm not a bad person and I don't appreciate being made to feel like one.

Thank you motley1, I found that answer but it doesn't fit in with the letters given.
I googled and came up with King Rat too but I thought the letter count was (3,9,5)
