We had a bit of a disagreement with friends about TV weather presenters. My friends think that they are just 'presenters' reading what is put in front of them I'm sure that they have some kind of meteorological qualification. Can anyone tell me who is right please?
^^^yes, the BBC has proper meteorologists from (currently) the Met Office on it's national forecasts......but on local forecasts (along with ALL of ITV's offerings) they are merely "presenting" ie somebody else has done the real work.
Remember that awful Sian Lloyd ..... she didnt have a clue what she was talking about, which might have contributed to her boyfriend, MP Lemsip Toothpick, dumping her for a Cheeky girl......hey Cheeky, Cheeky :-)
OK, harsh .....but fair, possibly
I do have a crush on BBC Weather lady, Louise Lear.....oh,yes
