Anyone else looking forward to the new series of Spiral? Starting tonight BBC 4. Found all the previous series really good.

Yes, haven't seen any of the previous ones....but have enjoyed lots of foreign drama series recently, both on BBC4 and under the "Walter Presents" banner on All4.
People who stick to the main "mass-market" channels miss lots of good programming.

Yes, Khandro, pretty sure she's in this, as she's in the trailers. Really enjoyed previous Spirals, and they managed to hold my attention - I often give up on foreign police programmes.

Yes, I love all these thrillers on BBC4. The lady who was in the last French one is in it apparently. The one who lost her memory.

I always get Spiral and Spin mixed up. Not when I'm watching them, of course. That lovely Gregory Fitoussi is in both.

I've been waiting for this eagerly since the last series ended. Will miss Pierre (Gregory Fitoussi), but I've a very soft spot for the Judge, and especially (and some might think, inexplicably) for Gilou. I love its tough realism, but I find it very funny, too, despite all the brutality (and that's just the cops)

I also like Gilou and judge Roban - though he seems to be becoming less sympathetic over time
