One Pot Non Spicy Ideas Please
39 Answers
We have visitors coming to stay for ten days shortly. In these circumstances I like doing one pot meals as I can just chop everything up, bung it in the oven and not have to faff around or disappear into the kitchen.
One of our guests can’t eat lamb or pork. Or tolerate any kind of heat or spice because of a medical condition. Creamy sauces are very much enjoyed but not essential.
I’d really appreciate some ideas, winter casseroles just don’t seem right in July...
Thanks

Lemon and mushroom chicken
Marinate chopped chicken breast in lemon juice and a little parsley for an hour, then stir fry some button mushrooms in a little butter add the chicken, and the zest of two lemons, add either cream or cremefraiche, stir and put into an oven proof dish 160 degrees for 35-40 mins. Serve with a green salad and crusty bread or green pasta. Not one pot but so easy
