Well, it was Baldrick in Blackadder but that doesn’t fit. ‘Specially as he didn’t have a surname.

Baldrick in the Blackadder series

In the 4th series he may have been referred to as "Private S Baldrick" but that is the only way I can think of that gives (7, 8)

I have no idea what S stands for!

I would agree with JJ. Private Baldrick looks a good guess, although he was only called that in one series I think

Could be the sod-off with the hyphen as one letter.
