3 x General Knowledge questions are causing me a bit of a problem.
10. What is this Roman symbol called? The clue shows an upper-case I (a Roman number 1 , I presume) followed by a reversed upper-case C. (I don't know how to reverse type) [It is now known by the upper-case D, i.e. 500, but I presume it has an earlier name].
16. What is the blue design of Chinese characters on English pottery called? [I think it is called Blue and White but have been unable to confirm this as Blue and White seems to be any blue/white pottery/china].
17. What name is given to the use of woodcuts in printing? [I can find the term woodblock, but nothing else seems to fit].
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
