Christmas Cards
24 Answers
How many of you will be posting Christmas cards to relatives and friends this year? I've decided that I would rather donate the money to a charity than give it to the Royal Mail.
First Class stamp 65p and Second Class 56p.
Large First Class letter/card 98p and a large Second Class letter/card 76p.
I may sound rather bah humbug but it just seems ridiculous to me that you can buy a pack of cards for £1 but posting them is extortionate.
Will still give to close family and a few close friends but most will be hand delivered rather than posted apart from those for abroad.

I told all my friends and they were fine about it. Some of them insist on sending me a card though, although I have asked them not to. I donate to charity, it's quite a large amount when you think I was sending 150 cards each year! I feel we have all been brainwashed into this 'Christmas thing'. I appreciate that a lot of you may think me awful, but I'm in touch with every one I care about through the year.
