Scrabble Word

On a quiz show the other night, (Pointless)--contestants were asked to give a word ending in "ock" the word plock was allowed (meaning the sound made when you put your finger in your mouth and draw it out quickly.) The Oxford English defines it but not the scrabble website.Any views out there?

If the question didn’t mention scrabble then it doesn’t matter does it?
Scrabble is based on Collins dictionary I think and not Oxford so you wouldn’t expect it to be there.

I suppose it depends on which reference book Pointless uses e.g Countdown uses the Oxford Dictionary of English to determine if certain words are allowed.

Fair enough--- but why won't scrabble allow it (apart from the fact that it also is a town in Poland) which is not allowed.-----but a sound made by the cheek surely is fair ?

We get a lot of questions asking why Scrabble doesn't allow some words - in truth only they could answer you.
