A Fantasy drama, currently on BBC i Player, all 5 series.
I can highly recommend this to anyone who likes the
Arthurian legend. This is told from a young Merlin's perspective.
Enjoyed all of it and can safely say i wished they had made some
more. First aired in 2008 to 2012.

for one thing it stick to the basics, and has some excellent acting in the two leads.

I was a bit disappointed with it, Guinevere just wasnt heavyweight enough in my opinion.

i was sorry when it all ended, after 65 episodes i guess it was time..

Ever since I was knee-high to a grasshopper, I've loved the Arthurian legend. I've watched the entire production of 'Merlin' twice, now, and I used to hope that they would revisit the series once Arthur had been on the throne for a few years. Unfortunately they haven't:-((

65 episodes sounds a bit challenging, but thanks for the tip, I'll give it a go. As a youngster I had a lovely King Arthur book which kept me enthralled so to re-visit it will be interesting.

Ken, i was expecting to see 2 more series. I was sure my brother said that were 7 series in all, but there is alas only 5.

i have literally binged watched it over the last few weeks, because of the lockdown plenty of time to spend catching up with some box sets. I can recommend this for Arthurian fans, plenty of battles, and great special effects.
