Thanks, Bobbinwales and Cashier! This one I forgot to
include in my query.

23(A) Daughter actress Jane, who travels with Santa (6):
D?S?E?

I have DASHER, but this seems to spoil my 20D which I thought could be DOG COLLAR
Thanks again!
d asher
what was clue for 22d and your letter's?
22 down is thematic. Collar is right but think of the boy who didn't grow up,

Bobbinwales, for 20D ( a thematic ), I have: ?A?CO?LAR
Thanks!
youll get it now from novalis hint
You need to get the full name of the character whose surname is unglued at 42a, then think of a synonym.

All the answers are listed in "Brewers".

Thanks, bobbinwales, Novalis, LancastrianOik! Have the full name of the character. On my way to working out the other unclueds. Pity I do not possess Brewers!

Now that I’ve completed the grid, excepting all the Unclueds, and
have the full unclued name, it’s still quite hazy as to how to link
everything. As far as the four unclued lights of two words each,
I have: 11 A, 22 A, 35 A and 20 D
Are these correct?
I am going to have a good, long stare at the whole thing again to
see if I can make sense of it. Thanks!
11a is split 3,6
22a Think Beatrix Potter
35a 3,5
20d you have that one almost...
You can put the 5 letter word in front of all the unclued
PS ...you don't really need Brewer .. I think most can be googled or use the universal crossword solver ...free..

Many thanks, Roslyn! I see the links now. I thought
22A was 2 words. You say my 20D is almost right...I have
2 words here, the first begins with P, the second with C
and ends with R. What's wrong? So, I'm missing one
unclued light of 2 words?
