its another early start but it's quiet and i like that. I can hear the birdies and wonder when they sleep.... I hope that your day is a good one and that if you have plans they go well.

alas i am still in pain, going on for 5 days now and i have resorted to some form of pain relief,
no idea what i have done, but the pain on sitting is pretty awful.

I have a large food shop order coming this morning, i sincerely hope it's all there, as i don't fancy going round the local supermarket to pick up stuff that maybe Sainsburys have missed off, seeing as how the point of online shopping is it gets delivered to your door

washing is on and other chores are done, so apart from sorting out the food shop the day is free. I hope the weather is kind and that maybe i can chill out in one of our local parks if its sunny and warm. Yesterday was nice, so we need more of that.

i am looking forward to the weekend as i have friends coming over for a late lunch, and provided the weather stays nice, have a picnic to go to Sunday.

Morning Emmie. Back in the office today and then tomorrow it's Friday. Yippee!

I ordered all the floor tiles yesterday for the kitchen, utility and patio. When last I enquired they had 172sqm in stock (we needed 99sqm) and I've been nagging OH to order them for weeks. Yesterday I decided to order them myself (men are just useless) and was told they only had 92sqm in stock and its now a discontinued item. I ordered what they'd got left, secretly plotting to kill my husband. An hour or so later they emailed me and said they'd actually got 110sqm in stock so I took the lot. OH is still alive ... only just. They're delivering tomorrow. :-)

OH controls the money pot so he is supposed to order all the materials. I had to pay for the tiles yesterday on my credit card.

The toad is still not himself and barely ate at Nursery again yesterday. He's going to Nanny's today so he might eat something hopefully.

Morning e birdies, what’s with these early morning with me, I usually sleep till at least 07-30 , I even closed my blackout curtains last night but to no avail, I was wide awake at 5-30 am

i have been cleaning this place for days, it needed it, but only vacuuming and dusting to do now, and that will be saturday morning, before friends come over. We have had road works for an age nearby and the level of dust settled on the flat has been horrendous, hard to keep up with it, normally i only dust, hoover once a week, now this is every other day. still the place looks better and i am pleased that i can now take a rest for a while

Morning all...thinking about going back to bed for an hour as my alarm went off at midnight and I was awake for ages - think it's gone to default after a brief tricity cut here a couple of days ago. Was out on th Fal in that new tub of the bro-in-law's - in theory to watch the Red Arrows coming over for Falmouth week but it was not to be, it had come in wet yesterday pm and the clouds came down to too lower a level. They had flown down to Exeter and were hoping for a weather break but, alas, no. Nine of us plus a toddler on the boat so it did get a mini sea-trial! And a couple of bottles of Prosecco went west.

Morning Emmie , Chip and Lcg, I had a awful nights sleep which doesn’t bode well with me, I’m loath to have even a nanny nap as I won’t sleep properly again tonight , I always have our window open and I feel like I have some kinda of a bite on my right index finger around the nail area, it’s red and itchy
