This tweet amused me today. I'm pretty sure I've made loads of mistakes using the wrong written word.

There was a time on AB when spelling errors were picked up on but haven't noticed it much these days :o)

I've got an irony board but it's a tad wobbly.
My spelling is abysmal - I have Grammarly to help me to spell correctly.
I get all the words that she lists mixed up.

all confuse me, I know the difference but not which one is which.

Dispatch / Despatch is one that I often get confused with.
I can remember when schools stopped correcting errors in spelling giving the reason that as long as the word or phrase could be understood was all that was necessary. It was a period that didn't last long.
