Cyber-opinion seems divided on Charles III's coronation being on grandson Prince Archie's birthday.

Some say it's a lovely tribute, the other side says it's stealing Archie's thunder.

I'd rather take the former view, how about you ?

I’m just happy with the Coronation Canary, be it on Archie’s birthday or not, I love a good celebration
If Harry and Meghan sell it to him correctly, Archie may well think that he has had the grandest and most expensive 4th birthday party in history.....
You don't half pose the big questions, Canary.

I suppose we'll have to wait for a constitutional expert to wander past.

My own feeling is that Archie will see off the new kid in town.
I don't think Archie featured in their planning at all. I imagine it was a convenient weekend.
I don't think it's any sort of tribute, just a coincidence.
Whichever date was chosen, it was always going to be on someone's birthday.
I haven't heard any protests from George Clooney yet, alba
