yes, sorry had meant to include ante date (opposite of post date)

I think maybe the word Friends had nothing to do with it! IT was confusing the way they printed it. And "Ante" is the answer as it connects all the other five words. So thank you for getting the right answers, even if my question was not quite right because I was thrown by the word "friends" above the question in the magazine!!
