Morning Chris - very quiet here this morning - think you’re ok on the last :)
Amazing - and I've beaten Shady's slave too ;-)

Hi folks :)
It's getting a bit late for my brain :-))
It's several decades too late for my brain, Haras2 ;-)

I hope that all's well with you down under, Seekeerz.
Question Author
I know the feeling !! All good down my way thanks Chris, how about you ?
I still seem to have got a pulse (just!), Steff.

The test results that I got from my consultant this week, relating to the progress of my cancer, were far from favourable but he's hoping (as, of course, am I!) that a change of treatment might bring it back under control again. So I'm currently crossing my fingers - and all other crossable parts of my anatomy too ;-)
Question Author
Well whatever you do cross leave your eyes out of it - you’ll be a nasty tangle on the floor otherwise !!

Chris I’m sorry to hear that, you’ve had chemo and radiation haven’t you - both very nasty - are you on medication as well?
I've been on hormone therapy throughout (even when I was having the chemo and radiotherapy).

I was originally using women's HRT patches but then they didn't work so well. So I was switched to hormone injections, in the hope that they'd work better. They didn't, so I had hormone tablets added on to the injections. The cancer has still progressed though, so now I've been switched onto much stronger hormone tablets (accompanied by steroids) to work in tandem with the injections. I'll be having more tests in a month's time, to see if they're helping to bring the cancer under control a bit.

Courage, mon brave !! Hang in there, mate !!

My fingers are crossed too - xx
Thanks, Steff ;-)
