Looking for suggestions for a cheap easy fancy dress for me and granddad grump our Christmas quiz Next Tuesday.

I hate the idea of Fancy Dress parties, but I was forced to go to one, it was just normal clothes with quite a few pairs of My Good Lady's knickers pinned to my top.

Apparently I was a 'chest of drawers'.

Be warned, there will always be those attending a fancy dress event with proper hired outfits,  you won't know it's gone competitive until you arrive.   Silly ideas based on puns may seem like a good idea at the time but after you explain it for the twentieth time the joke will wear thin. 

Best source of safe ideas is probably panto,   a trawl of the charity shops should yield the makings of a pair of ugly sisters,  might just need to pick up a cheap wig from the local joke stop.
