Bbc Quiz ; Week 6

Good evening, all!

 

Actually, as I’m typing this, I should possibly be writing “Good morning, all”, as it’s 3am and I’m drafting my post for later on today. I’m hoping that by trying the quizzes at a different time of day/night (and with a nice glass of Primitivo by my side to help me) I might do a bit better than usual!

 

So here goes . . .

 

Nope, not a lot of difference for me on the main quiz, it seems! Just my usual THREE out of seven:

. . . and, as of 3am, this week’s junior quiz isn’t on the BBC Newsround website yet. (It’s still showing last week’s one). I’ll have to try again later.

 

Oh well, at least the wine is drinkable ;-)

 

 

Update at 6.25pm: Aunty Beeb has finally untwisted her knickers! It looks like the junior quiz went online at around breakfast-time this morning (which is much later than usual). So here goes . . .

Oh dear! One of my worst weeks - 

2/7, 3/5 I don't know what went wrong. Ah well, besides not knowing any of the answers this week!

Perhaps too much birthday cake? Had thoroughly wonderful time celebrating my Dad's 80th all week and then it's my birthday next Friday so will feel like they all rolling into one big celebration!

The kitties have got a big birthday coming up too, as they'll all be TEN years old next Wednesday.  (They were the best Valentine's present ever!).

Good evening. You'll be happy, chico, I let you beat me on the main quiz - I got 2 for that and three for the childrens. In my defence,  we've had another mouse brought in though it was past any help. The cat took it under the unit and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had to leave the room. Ugh!

Another week with kitty abundance, Norman and Magic's guardians have gone off to Alaska ( after a mass panic over a misplaced passport the night before) so the two terrors have the house to themselves. Puss Puss and Bailey have not been informed just how many more pennies are spent on kitty food in that house than theirs and have taken a shine to some cat treats from Home Bargains.Hope all is well with you and yours and is stops raining soon....

My lot will sometimes go mad for cheapo cat treats but, as soon as I've then bought loads of them, they'll quickly change their minds!

I've still got to decide what they'll be getting for their big birthdays (10 years old!) next week but I know that they'll all get spoilt rotten anyway 🐱

I hope that you and the feline foursome will all have a lovely, warm and dry week!
